Michele has been heavily involved in the homeschooling and scouting community for the past 24 years. She has played pivotal roles in several homeschool co-ops, including being the Founder and President of PATH, Coordinator for MArCH, and the Secretary of HOPE. She has served as the Service Project Coordinator and Secretary as well as a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop 226. Additionally, she contributed to forming an American Heritage Girls (AHG) chapter and later helped run a Venturing Crew. She, and her husband of 30 years, raised their six children on 20 acres with horses, cows, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs. She now has six grandchildren and enjoys time spent with them. Michele feels blessed that she, her husband, three of her children, and two of her grandchildren, all have the opportunity to practice karate under the instruction of Renshi Dickey at her East Plano Dojo.

Michele, as well as all our board members, and our founder, is an unpaid volunteer.
